The Hypnotherapist
To be present in public spaces is to encounter varied expectations, opinions, and interpretations. It requires composure, accountability, and the willingness to listen even when agreement is absent.
With a Masters in Applied Psychology, my endeavour was to find ways to reach out to people whose minds are affected. That lead me to pursue studies in Emotional Intelligence, Transactional Analysis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy. Trained under Anthony and Freddy Jacquin from London, my interest lead me to complete Level 3 in Hypnotherapy, thus becoming a Life Member of Indian Association of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis.
Every person’s mind is unique, and so are their problems. I would say “Mind” your mind to live a happy life.
My interests in law, media, education, writing, Psychology, Sociology and social initiatives have shown me that public engagement can take many forms. It may be a counselling session, hypnotherapy session, a conversation, a stage appearance, a campaign, a school visit, a community project or a simple act of encouragement.
The measure of public life should not be the volume of attention received. It should be the quality of the contribution made. A public platform becomes meaningful when it amplifies useful ideas, encourages dignity and creates opportunities for others.
Life, at its best, is a continuing invitation to serve beyond the boundaries of one’s profession.
